I picked a random template. You're the one that likes to fix things up. I spent about an hour making a backup of our blog and setting this one up and I didn't have time to make it all pretty! So don't complain! You should thank me!
What is the margin of error for the 'approximately' 169 and 130 posts? 1 + 169 + 130 = 300 pretty much exactly as far as I can see...
And I just noticed that there are no funny letters for me to include in this comment.
Yeah, I'm going to wait and see if we start getting comment spam again. Truth be told, I don't like typing those letters very much.
To answer your question: Annoyingly, I had to count by hand, and my counts didn't quite add up to 300. So I adjusted the counts a bit to make them equal 300. That's all. And I didn't care enough to count again.
Another annoying part: The first fifty or so posts on this blog had one author - becconing amberlance. So I had to actually go through the archives and check to see who posted what. REALLY ANNOYING. the end!
Ah, it would be cool if blogger provided such statistics automatically...
How did you count the lines? Wouldn't they wrap differently on different window sizes/fonts/browsers/etc.?

Tap: I make a backup of the entire text of the blog - only the text, excluding comments. Then I paste it in Microsoft Word. I do a word count which tells me the number of lines.
